Speech Cue Priority™ is one of the latest inventions engineered by Bernafon. While some of your clients may benefit from comprehensive amplification of all phonemes, others might find it difficult to access the detailed speech cues. To address these different needs, Speech Cue Priority™ provides two alternative amplification strategies. Phoneme Priority mode focuses on maximum audibility of all the fine details of the speech signal. This strategy adjusts the gain to apply the precise amount of amplification to each phoneme. Envelope Priority applies less alteration to the amplification of the speech signal, preserving the crucial envelope information. AFC Plus and ANR Plus are highly beneficial when noise is present. AFC Plus detects and removes the acoustic feedback signals effectively. The key to this feature is speed. Your clients will notice the improvement in situations such as putting on a hat, giving someone a hug, answering the telephone, or adjusting the volume control. ANR Plus manages background noise by measuring and responding to the signal-to-noise ratio. In highly noisy situations, the system applies maximum attenuation. When speech begins to dominate noise, ANR Plus is smart enough to apply some or even no attenuation to the signal to keep the speech information clear. Automatic Directional fades between the full omni and a fixed directional mode. Depending on the listening environment detected, the feature selects the best setting. This is done automatically, making it more convenient for your clients.
